The plain of Korab inThe Plain of Korab is located near the village of Radomirë, at an altitude of about 1900 meters above sea level. It consists of a large glacial cirque complex formed in shale. The plain extends approximately 1000 meters in length and up to 200 meters in width.It has the shape of a giant amphitheater, featuring a flat bottom and steep surrounding slopes. The area is covered with rich alpine pastures, which during the summer season are used for grazing by livestock from villages on the western slopes of Mount Korab.Due to its remote location, the Plain of Korab is relatively difficult to access. Visitors must follow rural roads and then hiking trails from the city of Peshkopia toward the summit of Mount Korab (2764 m).
