It is the most unique bridge in the Pogradec district. It is located about 40 km from the city, over the Shkumbin River, built on the traces of the old Egnatia road, a branch of which started precisely from Golik to run along the upper course of the Shkumbin River, thus connecting the Mokra region (Lower and Upper Mokra) with the Domosdova plain on one side and the Korça plain on the other.
The bridge dates back to the 17th century and consists of two arches with a semicircular arch between which there is a discharge window also with a semicircular arch. In the column between the two arches, on the side of the water inlet, a chhora (water outlet, characteristic of most bridges with two or more arches in Albania) is built. The bridge is 17 m long, 3 m wide and 10 m high.
It is built with carved stones that were selected to be large and well-crafted, especially in the bridge's footings. This selection was made not simply for aesthetics but to make the structure stronger and more durable. Distance from the city center of Pogradec: 40 km northwest.
Currently, the road from Pogradec to the village of Golik is in very good condition, while from the main road to the bridge, it is advisable to go down on foot as the car cannot go further.
