The Church of Saint Sotir was declared a cultural monument on May 30, 1970, by the Ministry of Education and Culture. It is located in the village of Kërçisht, within the Maqellarë Administrative Unit. The walls are built of stones bound with lime mortar, and they preserve frescoes measuring 7 × 3.2 meters.
The church was constructed in 1270 and features a simple structural design. Its roof has a two-sided wooden construction, covered with stone slabs. The eastern part houses the altar area. The Church of Saint Sotir can be visited via the Peshkopi–Maqellarë–Kërçisht road.
