The Historical Museum of Lushnja is an important cultural institution for the city and the Myzeqe region, which documents local history from ancient times to the 80s. Conceived in 1982 and officially inaugurated on November 21, 1990, the museum has a modern architecture that stands out from the local buildings. It houses about 2,000 objects, including archaeological remains from ancient settlements, objects from the Neolithic period, as well as ethnographic artifacts that reflect traditions, rural life, agrarian reform, education and health in the area.
