Llogara National Park

Llogara National Park is a natural treasure of Albania, known for its beauty and wonderful nature. This park is located in the southeast of the country and offers a number of unusual natural attractions for visitors. It is located approximately 40 km southeast of the city of Vlora, on the spatial border between the Adriatic and Ionian seas. Llogara National Park is formed by a watershed with forests, pastures and meadows and rocky, very steep places. In this park are found all the vegetation zones of our country.

The flora and vegetation in this region is rich and interesting, with about 1400 species of tall plants known. Medicinal and aromatic plants constitute an asset with economic and scientific value for the area. This park represents one of the richest areas in terms of biological diversity. Llogara National Park is distinguished by 15 different types of natural habitats, many of which are species that are preserved at an international level. It has long been a highly sought-after ecotourism destination and serves as a transit bridge for the Ionian coast, with great potential for the development of ecotourism, mountain sports, tours and travels.
