Frëngu Bridge is one of the most characteristic historical bridges of the Shushicë valley and is located near the village of Gjorm, in the Municipality of Selenica. Built during the Ottoman period, around the XNUMXth century, it represents a prominent work of stone architecture, which for centuries served as a connecting node between the interior regions and the trade routes leading to Vlorë. The bridge is built of hewn stones, with a large main arch and several smaller supporting arches, which give it an elegant and functional shape at the same time. The view that the bridge offers over the Shushicë river and the surrounding landscape make it a special monument, where history merges with nature. Today, although it is no longer used for traffic, the bridge remains a cultural attraction visited by tourists and researchers, as a living testimony to the construction craftsmanship and historical heritage of the area.
