The Allajbegija Mosque was declared a cultural monument on May 30, 1970 by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The mosque was built in 1585, has a cubic shape with a dome and a prayer hall measuring 6.4×6.27 meters. Its minaret has a multi-faceted base and 10 windows with stone frames. The construction technique is artisanal, according to Albanian culture. Stone, brick and lime were used to build the wall. The roof of the mosque is dome-shaped and covered with “U” shaped tiles. Inside the mosque there is also a study hall. This mosque is located east of the village of Burim, to the left of the Peshkopi-Tirana highway.
