Northwest of the village of Dardhë, in the Librazhd district, lies the Bee Rock — a monumental formation about 100 meters high, located on the eastern slope of the Polis Mountain. The rock is the object of exploration by Italian speleologists from the “Puglia Grotte” and “Dauno” associations, and contains a cave with scientific, didactic and touristic values, which give it local importance and special research interest.
Although the original entrance has suffered minor damage from the activities of the inhabitants, the magnificent structure retains its karst integrity and speleological microclimate. To reach the cave, the visitor travels by car from Librazhd to Dardha, and then continues on foot through the eastern layers of the Polis rock.
This natural site constitutes a pillar of the area's heritage, connecting communities, historical traces, and untouched nature — an invitation for researchers, visitors, and environmentalists to discover the mysteries hidden in the rocks and galleries beneath the surface.
