The pedestrian “Murat Toptani” promenade, located in the heart of Tirana, is one of the most beautiful and unique streets in the city. Converted into a pedestrian zone in 2011, this promenade offers a unique blend of history, culture, and greenery.
While walking along this street, visitors pass by some of the capital's most important monuments: the Tirana Castle, the Academy of Sciences, the first public garden in Albania, the old National Library, and the building of the Former Politically Persecuted. The pedestrian path ends at the Tabak Bridge, a historic bridge that is connected to the city's identity.
