Osumi Park

Osumi Park, located along the promenade on the banks of the Osumi River, represents one of the most important recreational spaces and a vital natural component for the modern city of Berat. With a length of 1.47 kilometers and an area of about 16,500 m², the park serves as a meeting point for residents and visitors, offering a green and fresh environment in the heart of the urban area.

Located in the city's plain belt and supported by the natural flow of the river, Osumi Park complements and balances the urban landscape with rich plant and ecological elements. Its structure includes paved paths, resting places, as well as open spaces for family and sports activities, contributing to the quality of urban life and the city's natural tourism.

Within this park, a considerable biodiversity develops, where a variety of ornamental and native trees grow, such as: linden, plane, wild chestnut, soft pine, poplar, ash, maple, cypress, birch, weeping willow and magnolia, as well as rarer species such as privet, cedar, palm and olive. These elements make the park not only an aesthetic space, but also a small ecological laboratory, useful for environmental education and active recreation.

Osumi Park, with its favorable location and natural wealth, is a symbol of the coexistence of nature with the historic city, and one of the most beloved attractions for the local community and tourists.
