Butrint National Park is located in southern Albania, near the city of Saranda, and is one of the most important natural and historical destinations in the country. It encompasses a large area with diverse landscapes: lakes, lagoons, forests, cliffs and a beautiful coastline. The park is known not only for its rich nature, but also for its extraordinary archaeological heritage, including the ancient city of Butrint, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
