Inaugurated in November 2012 in the “Rinia” Park in Tirana, this 8-meter-high monument commemorates the 100th anniversary of Albania’s independence. Designed by architects Visar Obrija and Kai Roman Kikla, it features national symbols such as the double-headed eagle and the declaration of independence, reflecting Albanian architectural tradition in a modern form.
