The Church of St. Paraskevi is located in the village of Balldre, about 5 km from the city of Lezha, and dates back to the XNUMXth–XNUMXth centuries. It is one of the oldest churches in the area that has survived the centuries and still preserves precious elements of medieval art.
The most prominent feature of this church are its mural frescoes, which testify to the high level of art of the time. Among them is the fresco of the "Last Supper", which is thought to have been painted several centuries before Leonardo da Vinci created his famous version.
