Maligrad Island

Maligrad Island is a geomonument, the central point of the Prespa National Park. It is located in the southern part of Lake Prespa and is appreciated for its natural beauty and cultural values. The island has a special beauty at the end of May and the beginning of June. It has a cultural heritage spanning time, from the Middle Bronze Age to the 17th century. Its most precious asset is the 14th-century Byzantine-hermit church.
