Galeria e Bregdetit is a contemporary art space and artistic research center located in Radhimë, Vlorë, in southern Albania. Founded in 2018 by curator and architect Elian Stefa, this gallery represents one of the most innovative initiatives in the field of contemporary Albanian art and architecture.
The mission of the Coastal Gallery is to examine the invisible connections that shape and transform the territory, using art as a tool for reflection, research and interdisciplinary dialogue. Through exhibitions, research projects and artist residencies, the gallery combines contemporary art, architecture, ecology and sociology, addressing the way in which humans and the environment interact in coastal spaces.
As an experimental center, the Coastal Gallery organizes exhibitions, field art projects, seminars and publications, which foster collaboration between artists, researchers and the local community. The works and projects in this gallery aim to create a new dialogue on the sustainable development and identity of the Albanian coastal space.
