The Director General of the National Tourism Agency, Zana Çela, took part in the event “Journey for the Business Initiative for German Companies in the Tourism and Training Sector in Albania,” organized by German Industry and Trade Association in Albania (DIHA) and supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
In her keynote remarks, Ms. Çela shared the Albanian Government’s vision for the sustainable development of tourism, highlighting strategic investments in infrastructure, digitalization, and the improvement of service quality. She also emphasized the importance of cooperation with partners such as Germany to strengthen tourism promotion and hospitality standards.
“Within a decade, our country has transformed from an unknown destination into one of the most sought-after tourism markets in Europe. Our focus remains on promoting and building a sustainable, year-round, and inclusive tourism model that delivers development for local communities and authentic experiences for every visitor,” stated the Director General of the National Tourism Agency.
The event, organized in collaboration with SBS Systems for Business Solutions, welcomed a delegation of German companies operating in the fields of education and vocational training in tourism and hospitality. This marked an important step toward establishing new partnerships and fostering the exchange of expertise between the two countries
